We?ve just returned from a 7 day vacation on the biggest cruise ship in the world, the ?Allure of the Seas.? Many people wonder if it?s worth the extra money, if it?s too crowded, and what makes this ship so special. We have answers to all those questions and many more.
We talk about the advantages and disadvantages of vacationing on a floating city at sea. As diamond members of Royal Caribbean?s crown and anchor, we?ve been on many different classes, itineraries, and cruise lines. Oasis and Allure of the Seas are amazing, but are they our favorite cruise ship?

After 9 days at sea we finally reached Europe. The port is Lisbon Portugal which we thought was beautiful. Although we only had a few hours to explore, we had a lot of fun. Looking forward returning here at the of our trip. Our flight home is out of Lisbon on June 20th.

The point of no return…
We’re packed. In the car. Officially on our way to Europe.
It’s been exactly three months to the day since we booked our trip, finding that a transatlantic cruise was the cheapest way to Europe.
We’re carrying only a 28 liter backpack each filled with wool clothing and a butt ton of video gear.
Our plan is to have no plan. All we know is we land in Barcelona and leave from Lisbon two months later. Where we visit, what we do, and where we sleep will all be decided on a whim.
